Keeping these things in the liver disease, avoid more

Keeping these things in the treatment of liver disease is its cure

Liver-Disease

We also know liver by the name of liver and liver. If this part of the body as delicate as a sponge gets damaged then it affects the health of the whole body. If liver disease is not treated in time, it can also become a serious problem. After all, what are the symptoms of liver disease and how it can be avoided, Dr. Prashant Bhangi, the famous liver transplant surgeon of Medanta Medicity Gurgaon, is telling this to the readers of Webdunia.

 Reason:

Dr Prashant Bhangi, a member of the International Liver Transplant Society, explains that liver disease can occur at any age. In 70 per cent of the cases, it is caused by Hepatitis, Hepatitis B and C, but in India, it is more due to Hepatitis C. Drinking too much alcohol and drinking alcohol for a long time also causes liver damage. In 30 per cent of cases, our lifestyle and food are behind the problem of the liver. In children, this disease is caused by a gene an enzyme defect.

 Symptoms:

Dr Bhangi, who was awarded the Vanguard Award for Best Research Paper in the year 2016, says that liver disease can be relieved if given care in the initial stages. In the last case, the drugs also stop working, in which case liver transplant is the only option. They say that swelling in the feet, formation of water in the abdomen, vomiting of blood, internal bleeding in the body are symptoms that indicate liver disease.

 How to avoid

Dr Prashant, a state-level badminton player from Goa, explains that due to a poor lifestyle, a person has a problem with fatty liver (fat accumulation on the liver).  If we improve our lifestyle and walk two kilometres in the morning and evening, then we can get rid of this problem. Avoid fast food, fried-throat and spicy food, then the liver will be healthy and liver transplant will not be present.

 Liver cancer

Dr Bhangi, a member of the European Society for Organ Transplant, says that in 90 per cent of the cases, liver cancer occurs in the damaged liver itself. Only 10 per cent of cases occur when tumours occur in the normal liver. They say that changing the liver also cures liver cancer.  Awareness is also needed in this matter so that people do not get disappointed. Dr Bhangi, who took super speciality training in France, says that he got to learn a lot there. It is also very important to choose the right patient during the treatment so that the right results can be obtained.

What is the treatment of the liver disease?

Each type of liver disease has its specific treatment. for example -

  •  Hepatitis A requires supportive care to provide the body with enough water once the body's immune system heals the infection.
  •  Surgery to remove the gallbladder may be required for the treatment of patients with gallstones.
  •  Long-term medical care may be needed to control and reduce other diseases.
  •  Medications may be needed to control the amount of protein absorbed for patients with cirrhosis and the end-stage of liver disease.  A low sodium diet and diuretic medications may be needed to reduce water retention.
  •  An operation may be required to treat portal hypertension and reduce the risk of bleeding.

 Cheap treatment

Treatment with technology has also become expensive, so how can the common man get cheap treatment?  In response to this question, Dr Bhangi says that earlier 18 to 21 lakhs were used in liver transplant, now it is almost the same. Liver transplant surgery is mostly done in corporate hospitals.  This facility is not available in government hospitals like AIIMS. Cheap treatment is not possible without government support.

 What to eat

To keep Libre healthy for a long time it is necessary that along with a healthy lifestyle, catering should also be good. More and more green vegetables should be used in food.  Spinach, broccoli, cabbage, mustard, radish as well as sprouted moong, wheat etc. can also be used. We should also use garlic and ginger regularly in food.
